Adventerra Games for Youngest Kids Receive Awards

During the past few months, Adventerra Games has launched five new games for children ages 2+, 3+ and 4+. We wanted to introduce younger kids to our environmental concepts through puzzles and simple games. We’ve been delighted to see how well they’ve been received, winning several respected industry awards and being authenticated by STEM.org.

Hot Diggity: Signifies innovation, quality, entertainment and/or educational value and a commitment to excellence.

Mom’s Choice Awards: The Mom’s Choice Awards® (MCA) evaluate products and services created for children, families, and educators. The program is globally recognized for establishing the benchmark of excellence in family-friendly media, products, and services. The organization is based in the United States and has reviewed thousands of items from more than 60 countries.

STEM.org: Founded in 2001, STEM.org Educational Research™(SER) is the longest continually-operating, privately-held STEM education research and credentialing organization in America. Through an extensive collaborative effort, SER has worked closely with pedagogical researchers, an international coalition of educators, administrators, NGO’s and schools to establish a trusted set of STEM benchmarks. The resources and proven best-practices of this initiative have led to the world’s original and most recognized, blockchain-secured algorithmic STEM credentialing framework.

Adventerra Games for Youngest Kids Receive Awards

Here are our winning games:
Polar Adventure: Disappearing Ice • $24.99 • Ages 4+
• Mom’s Choice Gold Award
• PAL Award
• Hot Diggity Award
• STEM.org Authentication

This illustrated game introduces children to the problem of climate change and how it endangers the lives of polar animals. After building the polar environment, each player takes turns to roll the die and move their animal forward, aiming to be the first player to lead it to the safety of the big iceberg. Game play helps develop tactical skills; knowledge of the threat to polar fauna; hand-eye coordination; and respect for rules. Inside this boxed game are a 2-piece game board, 1 big iceberg, 4 mini-icebergs, 4 ships, 4 wooden animals, 1 wooden die and instructions.

What makes it Hot Diggity great: This easy-to-learn game introduces children to the topics of climate change, protecting habitats and compassion for animals. It’s extremely well made with sturdy game pieces and lovely illustrations of our arctic friends. Children will feel very proud of themselves as they move the animals to safety!

Hungry Bins: Learn To Recycle • $19.99 • Ages 3+
• Mom’s Choice Gold Award
• PAL Award
• Hot Diggity Award
• STEM.org Authentication

Hungry Bins is a classification game that introduces children to how to recycle and compost. Children discover different types of materials and learn to recognize their respective collection bins. To make the matching process easier, each token features the color of the corresponding bin. A few rounds of this fun game help develop a preschooler’s association and classification skills; observation skills; and visual memory. Each boxed game includes 32 tokens, board, and instructions.

What makes it Hot Diggity great: This is such a cute game that teaches a concept that kids can apply to everyday life. It also raises awareness of the importance of recycling and gets the conversation started at an early age.

Why Mom’s Choice Awards loves both games: We think Polar Adventures: Disappearing Ice and Hungry Bins: Learn to Recycle are both awesome. We love your message and appreciate how well Adventerra incorporates the environment with your games.

We wrote here on our blog in January about our first four preschool games and puzzles and the awards they won. They are Animals at Risk, Respect the Earth, Saving Water and Eating in Season (which will launch later this year). These all have won the Mom’s Choice, Hot Diggity, as well as PAL Award, which are unique because Play on Words speech and language expert Erika Cardamone recognizes exceptional toys, games and books that encourage language, spark fun and invite creative play. Hungry Bins and Polar Adventure have also won PAL Awards.

Our first four preschool puzzles and games, along with our newest two featured games Polar Adventure and Hungry Bins all have been honored to be STEM.org-authenticated with the Early STEM Products for meeting eight benchmarks.

STEM.org Authenticated Benchmarking Criteria for Early STEM products, which cover from birth to 36 months:

Standard 1: STEM Subjects
Standard 2: Sensory Stimulation
Standard 3: Support Materials
Standard 4: Diversity & Inclusion
Standard 5: Socialization & Communication
Standard 6: Imagination & Cognition
Standard 7: Kinesthetics & Active Play
Standard 8: Growth Accommodation

We’re very excited that our products are being recognized for their design, educational benefits, usefulness and enjoyability. Altogether, all 10 of our products have been STEM.org authenticated and to date they have won nearly 50 awards!
