Building Environmental Literacy Through Play

Hello teachers & guides!
Please check out our catalog of exciting eco games for all ages. For educator discounts, contact Ruthie Mundell, our Educational Partnerships Coordinator (301-904-7579).
We enjoyed meeting many of you in Boston & Denver last year. It was great to receive such enthusiastic feedback! We’re looking forward to The Montessori Event in DC in March 19-21, 2026 – come see us at Booth 523 and enter to win a free game!

Adventerra combines the words “adventure” and “terra,” the Latin name for our planet. It reflects our mission: to create exciting games that teach people to care for our world.

Our puzzles & games spark creativity, while developing science, technology, engineering, math, logic, and cooperative skills. That’s why all of our products have been authenticated by STEM.org. They have also won over 90 awards from toy industry, parenting, educational, and sustainability groups.
Empowering Students
Serious issues like pollution can be overwhelming, even for adults. Studies show that one of the best ways to handle eco-anxiety is to show people how they can help.* So, our games explore environmental issues through positive actions and concrete examples.

Mission Ocean: In this original board game, players roll the wooden dice and race to collect plastic waste floating among the waves. Then, they take it to the ship, cleaning up the water to protect sea creatures.
Respect the Earth: Our Ecologic puzzles introduce primary and lower elementary students to environmental stewardship through good green habits.
PowerHaus: This game about saving energy & money is great for upper elementary and middle school students. The winner is the one who makes the best choices for their wallet and the world!
We also have educational supplements to help you guide students deeper into the solutions in the game. For example, our Recycle Rally Guide explains how recycling reduces demand for natural resources, and the Forest Observation Puzzle Guide lists ways that children can protect woodland ecosystems.

Eco-Friendly & Sustainable
All of our games are plastic-free and made from eco-friendly materials (recycled and recyclable). We use sugar cane shrink wrap, compostable cardboards, vegetable inks, and wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
Let's Talk
We’d love to speak with you about how our games can fit at your school, or about participating in an upcoming study (researchers want to know how games can affect students’ eco behaviors, and need schools to participate). To learn more about the study or educator discounts, contact Ruthie Mundell, our Educational Partnerships Coordinator (301-904-7579).

We hope you have as much fun exploring our games as we had making them.
Looking forward to meeting you!
